David Goldstein - Come To February’s Domain Pulse Conference In Vienna To Find Out The Latest On Domain Names

    27.01.2017

The 2017 Domain Pulse conference is fast approaching. On 16 and 17 February, the largest annual conference for the German domain name industry will take place in the Austrian capital of Vienna.

Domain Pulse rotates each year between the 3 co-hosts – the Austrian, German and Swiss ccTLD managers – with nic.at hosting this year. As usual there is a focus on domain names with a number of presentations including on the internet of tomorrow by an ICANN staffer, the recently completed IANA transition, a panel looks at challenges for the domain name industry and another looks at the Chinese market while the 3 registry operators will give presentations on their current projects. Other presentations will look at the evolution of cybercrime, data protection and the Russian-Ukrainian cyberwar and the use of social media.

There are great opportunities to find out more about the industry and meet key industry players as well as a social event on the Thursday evening. Unlike previous years there will be no German-English/English-German translations. And best of all, as usual, registration is free.

To find out more and to register, go to domainpulse.at. There will also be representatives from Key-Systems there who can answer any questions and give advice.
