Brexit update on the .eu TLD

Urgent action required until March 30, 2019 for .eu registrants residing or established in the United Kingdom due to Brexit.

UK residents might no longer be eligible to register or renew .eu domains after Brexit. To be on the safe side we offer to use our trustee service. Affected domains might be deleted otherwise.

Since there is current uncertainty about the further proceedings around the Brexit we will continue to inform you about developments. In any case we want to make sure you and your clients residing in UK have all necessary information at hand to be able to properly manage and keep their .eu domain.

EURID, the .eu registry has notified its registrars that based on current EU regulations, natural persons residing in the UK and organizations established in the United Kingdom will no longer be eligible to register or renew .EU domain names as they no longer meet the required eligibility requirements in case no withdrawal agreement is reached.
